Third time is the charm as the quartet swells to include a second drum set, guest bassist, and squeeky toys.
As the band bridges two cities, having passed their 10-year anniversary, a new child and crazy health stuff, circumstances necessitated the introduction of understudies. The stand-ins became permanent fixtures and a double drumline got rave reviews at live shows. Andrew Hasseries' bold thumps drive two-thirds of this EP as original drummer Mehmet Vurkaç pivots to play percussion, bass, and guitar in Hank Failing's absence. Guest-on-strings Ben Schroeder developed great parts on the fly in the studio and will be seen live with the band on the road. Since the previous recording, Danny Norton has improved his chops on keys and drops a rambling rap at the cap of the last track. Travis Henderson used his signature vocal bombasts and trumpet melodies as the anchor that identifies the band's sound.
